Mentoring for Commercialisation Funding (MCF)

Fully funded by the Department of Innovation, Industry & Regional Development, the Mentoring for Commercialisation Program (MCF) is delivered by Pyksis Victoria and is designed to help eligible regional companies obtain commercialisation funding including:

• government grants (State and Federal)
• debt funding
• early private equity

Entry to the Program is on a competitive basis based on an assessment of the opportunity including, but not limited to the market potential, and the applicant’s likelihood of being competitive in obtaining funding.

The Program is delivered in three stages:

1. Audit of the opportunity and company and confirmation of eligibility and competitiveness
2. Development of a targeted commercialisation plan
3. Development and submission of an appropriate application

Around 30 Victorian regional companies are presently in the Program
